Nicola Bonriposi

Nicola Bonriposi Studio approaches design through a craft-driven mindset, rather than adhering to a fixed stylistic language. Materials and production processes play a central role in shaping both form and narrative. Each object bears visible traces of its making, emphasizing transparency and the seamless relationship between design and production.

Nicola Bonriposi holds a Master’s degree in Product Design from Politecnico di Milano. During his studies, he worked for 3.5 years at MrSmith Studio. He then joined GarthGlobal Studio in Berlin for two years, followed by a six-month period at Claudio Bellini Studio after returning to Milan.

He later moved to Belgium, where he worked at Extremis as Lead Designer, spending 5.5 years on-site and an additional two years working remotely. In 2024, he returned to Italy and founded his own studio in Milan. In 2025, he was awarded the Archiproducts Design Awards.
