Tomas Kral
Tomas Kral, a Swiss and Slovak designer, graduated with honors in Industrial Design, Product Design, and Luxury Product Design from ECAL – École cantonale d’art de Lausanne. In 2008, he founded his design studio in Lausanne. With deep expertise in materials, manufacturing methods, industrial production, and research, Kral is known for his ability to transform complex and demanding challenges into clear, simple, and intelligent solutions. His work spans a wide range of product categories, from desktop objects and lighting to furniture and accessories crafted in glass, cork, metal, and ceramic. His designs have been recognized with numerous international awards, including the Leitz Innovation & Design Award, the Swiss Federal Design Award, and the Red Dot Design Award.
